I'm becoming addicted. In my quest to eat better I'm trying to introduce new veggies into my life and now I'm wondering where they've been this whole time. I think they are pretty, also. Here's how I make 'em:
Heat oven to 450 degrees.
Cut off brown base of sprout and then cut in half or quarters depending on size.
Put in bowl and toss with a small amount of olive oil, balsamic vinegar and honey.
Add salt and pepper and toss to cover. You don't need a lot of liquid or they'll just end up mushy.
Dump onto a cookie sheet. I line mine with foil. I hate doing dishes.
Cook for 20-30 minutes with a toss during halftime.
When they come out I like to squirt 'em with lemon juice and add some fresh parm.
Take a beano and inhale your fancy veggies.
Done.
